Briarcrest Christian Middle School students will take flight bringing Disney’s Peter Pan, Jr. to the Briarcrest stage April 16, 17 and 18 with evening performances at 7:00 pm. On Saturday, April 18, there will also be a matinee beginning at 2:00 pm. There will also be a visiting school performance with limited seating on April 17 at 1:15 pm.
Disney’s Peter Pan, Jr., based on the Disney film and J.M. Barrie's enchanting play is a modern version of a classic tale about a boy who wouldn’t grow up! The score includes new arrangements of classic Disney songs, such as "Following the Leader," "You Can Fly," "The Second Star to the Right" and "Yo Ho, A Pirate's Life for Me."
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Briarcrest students get in free.
On Saturday, April 18 at noon, there will be a “Pirate’s Feast and Tinker Bell Tea” where children and adults can get a picture with the characters, have a light lunch and take a backstage tour. The price for this event, which includes a matinee ticket, is $20 for children and $15 for adults. Children must be accompanied by an adult for this event.
